Jane Tarver Delivers the Key Note Speech at IAI AGM 2020
The IAI (Institute of Architectural Ironmongers) AGM 2020 was held this past weekend at the Hallmark Hotel Gloucester. A full weekend of networking, CPD sessions, speeches and a celebration of excellence among the industries best.
The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers describe themselves thusly: “The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) is the only trade body in the UK that represents the interests of the whole architectural ironmongery industry – architectural ironmongers, wholesalers and manufacturers. The GAI’s reputation is built on three key areas: education, technical support and community.” “IAI is the acronym for Institute of Architectural Ironmongers and this is the home of our individual members. This makes belonging to the Institute a real benefit to each individual member personally, and one which can be taken from job to job.”
Our very own Jane Tarver, who is a marketing and research professional here at AMA Research, who has worked in the B2B sector for over 25 years and notably produces AMA’s quarterly Construction Forecast Bulletin as well as co-writes the Economic & Construction Market Review, presented the keynote speech.
Her speech, which was presented Saturday 7th March, focussed on how the current climate impacts on the construction industry as well an explanation of the key findings from the GAI and AMA Research that was conducted. The research itself reviewed the percentage cost of door hardware versus total project cost and the approximate maintenance costs attributable to door hardware over the lifetime of a building.
AMA Research are proud to have been a sponsor of the IAI AGM 2020 and are grateful for such a successful working relationship as well as the strong work provided by Jane Tarver who has been with the company providing her expertise for over 20 years.
