Head of Consultancy
As Head of Consultancy you will be the first point of call for enquiries and opportunities for bespoke consultancy work.
While winning work is a key feature of this role, the level of inbound enquires mean there is rarely necessity for outbound prospecting, however this may be appropriate for specific target markets.
The Head of Consultancy is responsible for client management and successful delivery of consultancy work. This requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with both short and long term requirements, along with ongoing retainer contracts.
You will be supported by the Consultancy Research Manager and will work closely with the AMA Product Manager, Chief Economist, AMA Research team, freelance contractors, data analysts at Barbour ABI and external research agencies to ensure effective and efficient implementation of client projects. The role reports to the AMA Research Product Manager and has one direct report, the Consultancy Research Manager.

Research Manager

Freelance Researchers
We are particularly interested to hear from Freelance Researchers who will be happy to mostly work from home under their own initiative, undertaking desk and telephone research, as well as collating and analysing findings and preparing outputs.
Candidates should have the following skills:
- Some marketing/market research experience.
Key attributes also required include :
- Strong analytical and information gathering skills.
- Strong knowledge of marketing issues.
- Ability to research, analyse and prepare a professional, detailed report under our guidance.
