The market situation in 2016 continued to be positive, supported by a strong performance in the commercial sector, which benefited from opportunities across several non-domestic sectors, including entertainment, offices, education and health. In 2017, the market has experienced sustained growth, although at a slower pace than 2016. Lower growth is expected in the short term, with consumer and business confidence waning and in turn impacting on demand for bathroom products.
