Who We Are
AMA's experienced in-house team of researchers are experts in their fields and adept in conducting original and relevant research for reports or for commissioned services. Using their extensive knowledge and a wide variety of industry sources and contacts built up over many years, the research team at AMA penetrate beyond the usual and more obvious sources of information to develop a real, in-depth understanding of the issues and complexities of the specific market under review.
Our two directors combine between them over 50 years' experience in the construction industry, with previous senior marketing management experience in international building and home improvement companies. Both directors have wide experience in marketing, market research and consultancy, having previously worked in senior marketing roles for major companies including Philips Electronics, Electrolux, Kohler Mira, Granada and SKF.
Keith Taylor - Director
Keith has worked in several building and home improvement product companies including Kohler Mira Showers (previously Caradon Mira), Philips Electronics, Granada TV Rental. Keith also has a technical background with a degree in engineering and has research experience in a number of construction, environmental/recycling and industrial markets. In particular, Keith has substantial experience working in the building services, Mechanical & Electrical and environmental / recycling industries having been involved in numerous research projects over the last 25 years, with organisations such as RWC, Kohler, WRAP, BRE, Hager and Bosch.
Andrew Hartley - Director
Andrew has senior marketing management experience in the glazing industry with Monarch Aluminium, a subsidiary of Electrolux. Andrew has carried out a wide range of projects in the building products market including glazing, offsite manufacturing, plasterboard, insulation, landscaping etc. In addition, Andrew has been involved in a wide range of construction sector reviews, including Student Accommodation, Care Homes, MoD, Healthcare etc, with companies such as Willmott Dixon/Inspace.
AMA Research has a team of in-house researchers with recognised marketing qualifications and extensive marketing and market research experience across a wide number of disciplines, and the majority have worked for the company for 10 years or more. We also use experienced freelance staff, most of whom have also worked with AMA Research for a long time.
