Education output decreased in 2018, following overall growth between 2013 and 2017. Whilst public sector output still holds the larger share, it has declined significantly due to cuts to budgets, and accounts in 2018.
The bulk of current education sector projects are due to complete in 2019 and 2020. The large rise in contract values completing during these years is due to a small number of very high value schemes. The number of projects currently due for completion beyond 2021-22 begins to drop considerably, coinciding with the planned completion of PSBP2.
